Advance Theatre Company is a fresh new production company based in Bedfordshire looking for mature members (aged 16 and over) that will appeal to the amateur seeking confidence and fun, the semi professional looking to widen their horizons and the professional looking to become a part of something new, inovative and exciting.
Each individual can take what they want from the experience of becoming part of Advance. So don't feel daunted by the professional aspect – The company itself will have many strands and will be seperated into Amateur, Semi-Professional and Professional ventures as well as Educational ventures and Production ventures for those who are less interested in the performance aspect and are more interested in directing, producing, designing sets and costumes and learning the technical aspects of theatre. It will take a lot of work for the company to bloom, so we are taking it slow to start with.
Possible future projects for the company include:
-
Performing Plays/More challenging musical repertoire which will suit both the enthusiastic amateur drama lover, the young actor looking for a more mature and professional group who may have been to university and is looking for work and experience or is on their gap year and needs to gain confidence or greater skills and understanding, and the professional looking for some serious work. The group will nurture their members and eventually start professional ventures which may become profitable for it's actors, directors and creative team
