Welcome to the Leighton Buzzard Children's Theatre Website! We are a community group, based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, United Kingdom. We aim to teach children stagecraft in a fun environment, provide performance opportunities and ensure that every member feels special.
Young people aged five to eighteen are encouraged to do their best, enjoy themselves and help others in an atmosphere of sharing, caring and professional training. We believe every child has the right to develop skills at their own pace, to help others and to experience the wonders of theatre.

RAIN STOPS PLAY 16th January 2010
unbelievably I have been to the Barn this morning and the car park is completely flooded- 8 inches of water- the drains are all blocked and as it continues to rain it gets deeper with no access to the entrance door. Had to make a decision to abandon rehearsals again today. Bugsy Cast I will rearrange something in the week as this is now urgent.So sorry but dangerous to let rehearsal continue as access to the Barn was impossible
Youth Section started on 12th January 
great start to the new term with the two youth sections working on performance skills with special emphasis on opera this week! Great fun- more to follow

Unfortunatly LBCT has withdrawn from the 02 concert- logistical nightmare, we 8 needed licensed chaperones at £100 each, the coach fares were ridiculous(over £1200 for 2 coaches) all participants had to be licensed as we are not a school group and the number of items the choir were to sing got shorter and shorter. We understand this will cause disappointment and any payment given for participation or chaperoning can be claimed in January as a discount from fees if desired. (Unfortunaly LBCT is unable to claim a refund from Voice in a Million)
