Traditionally members of the Children’s Theatre are encouraged to get involved in as many of our charity performances as possible. We have regularly taken groups to perform in Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding areas for various charities. For the last 30 years LBCT would be found at the Milton Keynes Christmas events entertaining the busy shoppers with Christmas songs and popular musical theatre pieces. We also regularly visit several retirement homes to entertain with extracts from our current productions as well as the old classics.
Children's Theatre for ages 6-12 enjoy improvisation, role play, acting, singing and learning stagecraft

We performed in the Big Sing Out December 2024 at The Vandyke Theatre in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support
We performed "Annie the Musical" in June 2024 at The Vandyke Theatre
We performed "Alice the Musical" in May 2023 at The Vandyke Theatre
We performed alongside the LBCT Youth Section in "Matilda the musical" in July 2022 which raised £850 for Macmillan Cancer Support
Another recent production was Lionel Barts "Oliver" in March 2020 (just before lockdown!) This involved all CT, Mini and Youth Section members and raised £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support
Rehearsals are on Tuesdays at The Barn, Heath and Reach 4.15-5.30
